
Luk Smeyers is graduated in Social Sciences and accomplished post-graduate studies in General Management and Clinical Organizational Psychology (INSEAD). He has more than 25 years of experience as international HR executive in several Fortune 500 companies (Pepsi, Starbucks, Nielsen). Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President HR Europe with Nielsen, the world’s largest FMGC Marketing Consultancy. With his result and people oriented focus, he has made substantial difference everywhere and established deep shifts in perspectives and strategies.
In 2008, Luk established iNostix, a cutting-edge HC Analytics company, together with academic partner Dr. Jeroen Delmotte. Luk is passioned about researching the business impact of HC investments: HR performance measurement, Human Capital Analytics, Predictive modeling, Business Impact Analytics and Employer Branding Analytics. On top, he is considered as one of the few European experts in applying Dave Ulrich's HR-research frameworks. He's a frequent speaker at top conferences, writes for several well-known HR magazines and is a social media geek.
